Dead Island Special Infected

The Suicider

They're a special form of mutated zombies that are trapped in disfigured, pulsing form. Air sacs of volatile gasses have grown through out their entire upper body destroying whatever clothing they may have worn above the waist only leaving their pants. The gas pockets have painfully torn themselves out of the victim's body and contain highly reactive gases which when disturbed they will violently exploded killing the Suicider and other living things around it in a small proximity. They are the zombie known to have some humanity left in them since they pled for death when they are close to an uninfected survivor they will cry "help me" over and over until death.
Tip: Never hit a Suicider with a melee attack you will die it's best to use guns or throw weapons at it at a distance.
The Ram
Rams are extremely tough, strong, ferocious and persistent member of the special infected. This zombie is was  insane even before the outbreak since they attended insane asylum as a human. Their straight jacket binds their arms together for forever but that won't stop them they with chase you down and ram you over. If a Ram knocks you down, kicks or headbutt you you'll lose lots of health so be warned try to get it after you and be sure to have a wall or object behind you for it to hit because it'll start to freak out giving you time to hit it's weak spot behind it's back to kill it. The Ram can only die if attacked from the back or the top of it's head because you'll only deal one damage point if hitting it anywhere other than the back or head.

The Floater

Floaters are extremely bloated and partly decomposed infected that produce a acidic slime that it vomits at it's enemy to hurt, blind, and disorientate them from a distance. If an enemy gets to close it'll spray at it's corrosive vomit in a sweeping pattern causing massive damage to any enemy in the area. Floaters are difficult to kill since there bloated tissues can absorbs a lot of punishment meaning guns are out of the question. Don't use fire based weapon on it since it's fire proof.

The Butcher

The meaner and tougher version of the infected, The Butcher slices and tear it's victims to shreds with it sharp forearm bones. Whether or not the Butcher violently got his forearm broken or they purposely sharpened them is unknown but they are very sharp and deadly organic weapons. The Butcher's possess great speed and accuracy in combat and have lightning quick reactions making them hard to kill with melee weapons. A good way to kill one is to use fire arms so you won't have to deal with a maniac hitting you with bloody stumps. The Butcher is a very damaged infected that has barely any flesh left on it face but it still has enough muscle to keeps it's jaw in place and looks to been and many fights with survivor and other infected. It's tends to be an hard enemy to find since it can sometimes sneak up on you without hearing it causing it a good chance to damage you badly or possible kill you if your unprepared.

Dead Island Riptide

Dead Island Riptide is the new Dead Island game that continues right after the original. Don't be confused with the title it's not a dead island 2 but more of a part 2 of the orginal.

The game continues right after the ending of the orginal. A raging monsoon hits the survivor's helicopter causes them to land on a militiy ship but the virus has found a way to stay alive on the heros causing the majority if the ships crew infected turning them into the undead, starting a whole new outbreak. The ship is taken away by a riptide making them land in the island of Palanai in the South Pacific. The ship landing on the island may have caused the island to be infected because of the hundreds of infected crews members getting out and attacking the uninfected people of Palanei.

New features
-Zombies:
-New Mutated Zombies
-Grenadier Zombie, which can throw grenades at survivors
-More zombies on screen at any one time (meaning more zombies and less lag)
-Unlikly for zombies to respawn to add realizism but the game is going to try and handle this in a more intelligent and complex fashion. Zombies will reappear depending on how the game will take into account if the player is on a mission, how recently the players last passed through, the character’s condition, whether the player is playing in a group and plenty other factors also.

Players and Co-op
-Players can keep their progress from the orginal game and tranfer to Riptide
-You can play with other players that not your exact level now
-When a player disconnects from multiplayer it with have no more glitchs but simply a notification  with say that player disconnected
-Players will not have to wait to get gun as long as they did in the orginal because they will get guns right away.

Environment
-Environmental weather.  huge part of the engine overhaul has focussed on adding big weather effects. It's mean't to add tension and change the atmosphere of the game to make the player to try make up new stratgies and the player's survival will be trickier.
-The only way of transportation is by boat to get the new island near Palanei
-Zombies can pull the players off the boat
-This island is vastly changed and different from Dead Island's orginal Banoi island.

Weapons
-New weapons and guns are added
-Weapons have better durablity

That's the website currently has to offer and the game will be released in 2013 so stay tuned to it's offical website Dead Island Riptide.com.

Dead Island

Dead Island is a survival horror game created and developed by Techland and Deep Silver.
Dead Island was released on September 6, 2011 and sold over 4 millions copies on the date of the release.
The game's settings is located on a fictional island Banoi off the coast of Papua New Guinea which later on is overrun by an unknown virus that turns people into the walking dead that have an insatiable hunger for human flesh.
The game is has an open world which is similar to the Grand Theft Auto Series which means the player is allow to do anything thing they want. Example: killing zombies, exploring the island and anything basically the game allows you to do.
There are 4 main characters you can choice at the beginning of the game which are:

Xian Mei
A desk clerk at the Royal Palms Resort. Born and raised in China, she secretly works as a spy for the Chinese Government. To conceal her covert activities, Xian performs menial tasks for the hotel.
Her Game Stats: Health 90-Stamina: 100-Speed:100.
Her specialty is Sharp Weapons
Tips: It's not recommended to fight groups of zombies because of her low health. It's best to carry mostly sharp long ranges weapon likes Machetes, Katanas, and Axes, you can carry Blunt weapons and Guns but make sure to have mostly just sharp melee weapons in your inventory.

Purna
An Australian Aboriginal former officer of the New South Whales Police Force referred to by the game as the "Sydney Police department.
Her game stats: Health 100-Stamina: 90-Speed-100.
Her specialty is Guns
Tips: It's recommended to carry mostly guns because she is the Gun Specialist but you can carry Sharp Weapons because she has some skills in Sharp Weapons. Be careful with your ammo because it's limited and not common but make sure you upgrade Providence, Recyclier and upgarde your combat tree to the final max update be able to carry more ammo.

Sam B
A one-hit wonder rap star from New Orleans. He was booked by the Royal Palms Resort to perform his well-known song "Who Do You Voodoo" at a high profile hotel party. He gladly took the chance to play this gig. Once strong, self-confident and proud, Sam B has had a troubled past and a history of drug and alcohol abuse, and his private life became a haze of fake friends and bad advisers. He believed his gig at Banoi was his last chance to get back on top.
His Game Stats-Health:110-Stamina 90-Speed 100.
His Specialty is Blunt Weapons
Tips: Carry mostly blunt weapons in your inventory but you can carry sharp weapons and guns too. Sorry but i don't to much about him so you can research him in the Dead Island Wikia

Logan
A former American football star, spoiled by life and successful in every possible way. Unfortunately, his own ego finally put an end to his bright future. Taking part in a reckless street race with tragic consequences resulting him to fracture his knee, putting an end to his sports career.
His Game Stats-Health:100-Stamina:80-Speed:100
His Specialty is Throwing Weapons
Tips: Carry lots of throwing weapons in your inventory but have a couple perminate non throwing weapon so you won't be defenceless. It's commended to get upgrade Boomarang to maxium so you have a chance of getting your weapons back after throwing them at your enemies.

Have some fun killing the Undead :)
